What Is the My Bentley App?

The My Bentley app connects your smartphone to your Bentley and offers a suite of services that deliver a safer, smarter, and more convenient driving experience. From displaying real-time traffic information on your navigation system, reading out loud the latest headline news, and even helping you find out where you parked, the My Bentley app is designed to make your daily life easier than ever. Services

My Bentley services can be grouped into three categories: In-car services, Remote services and Emergency services.


Wi-Fi Hotspot
Wi-Fi hotspot lets you create a wireless in-car internet network for you and your passengers. You can connect up to eight devices allowing you to stay in touch with the outside world from the comfort of your Bentley.

Apple CarPlay®
Apple CarPlay® is a smarter way to use your iPhone® in the car. CarPlay® takes the things you want to do with your iPhone whilst driving and puts them right on your car's built-in touch screen Infotainment display. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to music, all in a way that allows you to stay focused on the road. Just plug in your iPhone and go.

Google Earth™
Google Earth™ assists with orientation by using satellite imagery to create a rendering of your surroundings. The downloaded images are intelligently cached to lower the data volume meaning that they will be readily available for your most frequent routes.

Online Search
Online search powered by Google™ lets you search for specific or unusual locations using a free text field in the vehicle's Navigation system. It works in the same way as an internet search returning extensive and up-to-date results including star rating, reviews, opening hours etc. where available.

Real-Time Traffic Information
Real-Time Traffic Information (RTTI) gathers the latest information on traffic flow and incorporates it into the vehicle's Navigation system to help you avoid congestion on your route.

Fuel Info
Fuel info identifies the nearest fuel stations in the area or at a destination of your choice, allowing you to navigate to the most convenient location. You can filter the results by distance or price.

News
News lets you access the latest headlines on-the-go. At the touch of a button, the selected article can be read out loud to you, allowing you to maintain focus on the road.

Weather
Weather provides you with detailed weather conditions for your location or at a destination of your choice.

Map Update
Map update allows you to upgrade your maps over-the-air, hassle-free. You can check for updates and download new maps as required.


Find My Car
Find my car saves the last parked location of your vehicle and uses your smartphone’s mapping system to guide you back to it.

My Car Status
My car status lets you view various updates about your vehicle through the My Bentley app. This includes the status of your locks, lights, fuel range and mileage.

Lock My Car
Lock my car lets you lock and unlock your vehicle from anywhere using the My Bentley app. You can also check if any windows or doors have been left open.

Perimeter Alert
Lock my car lets you lock and unlock your vehicle from anywhere using the My Bentley app. You can also check if any windows or doors have been left open.

Speed Alert
Speed alert lets you remotely set a speed threshold for the vehicle. If the vehicle exceeds this speed, you will receive a push notification and an alert in the My Bentley app. As a part of this service, you can create a Curfew alert by setting a speed limit of 0 mph. If the vehicle is moved when Curfew alert is set then you will also receive a push notification and an alert in the My Bentley app.

Valet Alert
Valet alert combines the benefits of Speed and Perimeter alert letting you remotely set a geographical perimeter and speed threshold for the vehicle. If the vehicle leaves the permitted area or exceeds the defined speed, you will receive a push notification and an alert in the My Bentley app.


Find My Car
Find my car saves the last parked location of your vehicle and uses your smartphone’s mapping system to guide you back to it.

Roadside Assistance Call
In the event of a breakdown, Roadside assistance call provides a direct line to the Bentley Roadside Assistance Call Centre who will arrange the necessary recovery service. You can initiate the call by pressing the roadside assistance button in the roof console of the vehicle.

Stolen Vehicle Finder
In the event of a theft, Stolen vehicle finder gives you the opportunity to contact the Bentley Stolen Vehicle Tracking Call Center to place a GPS tracking request. The operator will attempt to locate your vehicle and liaise with the local enforcement agency to recover it.

How to Activate the My Bentley App

To use the My Bentley services you will need to register for an account and activate your services. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to set up the My Bentley app, or feel free to stop by our dealership and we will be happy to assist you.

    Step 1: Register

  1. Download the 'My Bentley' app from your smartphone's app store.
  2. Once you have successfully downloaded the app you will need to Sign Up and complete the registration steps.

  3. Note: You will need your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) which can be found on the windscreen of your vehicle.

    Step 2: Verify - No action required

  1. You will receive an email to confirm that your account request is being processed.

  2. At this stage you do not need to take any further action. We will validate the information that you have provided and confirm that you are the rightful owner of the vehicle.

    We aim to confirm your account registration as soon as possible, however, this security check may take up to 48 hours.

    Step 3: Activate

  1. Once successfully verified, you will receive an email containing a link to the My Bentley app.
  2. Click the link in the email to create a password for your account.
  3. Log in to your account and define a 4-digit PIN (which provides an additional layer of security when using certain features in the app).
  4. You will now need to activate your services from inside the vehicle (see Activate in-car services and Activate remote services)

    Active In-Car Services

  1. Access the 8-digit in-car services pairing code from the My Bentley app Dashboard. The pairing code can also be accessed from the Details submenu in the app (located below the vehicle name).
  2. Enter the pairing code into the Infotainment system using the steps below:

  3. From the My Bentley homepage select the Options icon > Activate my in-car services > Add new user > Enter pairing code.

    Active Remote Services

  1. Scratch the label on the plastic tag (attached to your key fob) to reveal the 10 character vehicle code.
  2. Enter your username (email address used to register for your My Bentley account) and vehicle code into the Infotainment system using the steps below:

  3. From the My Bentley homepage select the Options icon > Activate remote services > Primary user > Set primary user > Enter Username and Vehicle code > Log in.
